A Blog Worth Sharing #11: STICKY NOTE QUOTES

Hello Everyone!

It’s time for me to share another blog again that I feel is worth your visit. 🙂 Allen Kive is fairly new to blogging, but I like his thought-process and his creative way.

He’s written only 4 posts  so far (the 5th is my blog nomination for him); but I’ve got my 2 thumbs up for him! Please visit Allen’s blog and I promise you that you will enjoy reading what’s on his head. 🙂

Thank you Allen for deciding to share with us your rambling thoughts by creating your impressive blog!

POST TITLE: STICKY NOTE QUOTE # 3

“Have you ever watched someone put somebody else down, sometimes for seemingly no good reason. I know I’m guilty of having done this, as I’m sure most people are as well. When I question my motives for doing so, I find that it isn’t that I genuinely want to hurt the other person’s feelings, or make them feel or look bad, instead, it’s done for the purpose of making myself look better. Although, it seems like a stupid reason for making others look bad (and it is), I find myself doing it relatively often…”

A Blog Worth Sharing #7- Gilmours Nice Place

Hello Everyone! 🙂

Today, I am very excited to share with you one of my favorite blogs. I like that the style is different from the usual blogs that I read. It is artistic, intelligent, and funny too! 🙂 I strongly recommend that you visit and read this blog.

It is about “observations of modern day life observed through the eyes of two cats and a human.” I really enjoy this blog and I hope that you’d feel the same.

Thank you Allan Gilmour for your creativity and wit! You’re simply amazing!

“Mr Midnight had started  wearing a purple latex band around one of his legs and he was now proudly parading around the garden so that Sir Winston could see it.

Losing Control

“MM-AvatarI´m glad that I´m a cat this time round daddy and not a human being.

author-Avatar       And why is that Mr Midnight?  Can you remember a disturbing event from one of your past lives or something?

MM-Avatar       Not really. I sometimes have strange flashbacks burning my brain but that could also have something to do with the fact that I haven´t drank enough fluids.

I don´t need to travel back to one of my past lives to be thankful that I´m a cat.

You human beings always remind me how good I´ve got it.”

A Blog Worth Sharing # 6- Zen and the Art of Everyday Living

Hello Everyone!

The blog that I am sharing with you today is one of the most helpful blogs I’ve encountered, especially when it comes to living mindfully and peacefully. The author, Richard Grumberg, has a very clear and easy to understand approach in his writings. I strongly recommend that you visit his blog… AND for the poetic bloggers, you may also like his other blog  575 Haiku Place.

Thank you Richard for teaching us the art of everyday living! Your amazing blog is truly inspirational and helpful.

POST TITLE: The Path of Wisdom: Parenting the Inner Child

“Whether or not you believe in the concept of an ‘inner child’ (and no less a Zen Master than Thich Nhat Hanh is a strong proponent of it), we all know that just about every time we set out do something that will require any appreciable effort, our feelings will inevitably scream out, “I don’t want to! I don’t want to! Let’s just do that tomorrow!”

Conversely, any time we are tempted to do something that we know we shouldn’t do, our feelings will cry out, “But I want to! I want to! Do it! Do it! Do it!” Those feelings make up a large part of our inner child.

This is why I believe that parenting our inner child, which is predisposed to avoiding pain and seeking pleasure, is one of the greatest skills any human being can develop if they want to successfully do just about anything involving any appreciable effort.”

Your Duty To The World

“How dare you NOT stand out? It is a shame of you not to share your gift with world! What about all the people you can touch? What about the inspiration and love you can spread? If you spare the world your gift, you may take away many smiles from the people who would love your work.”

What Kind of Tree Are You?

“Look inside and examine who you really are in the most objective way possible (this is a high level of maturity – objectivity). Don’t judge or criticize what you find inside; if you don’t like what you found inside, just understand that you can change and go get the information needed for you to do that.”
