Liebster Award 2016 (take 2!)

Big thanks to Pulkit at IMPOSSIBLYREAL for nominating me for the Liebster Award 2016!

I was supposed to nominate him because I find his blog interesting, intelligent, unique and quite entertaining but I was surprised to see him nominate me first (can I nominate someone who nominated me?) 🙂 Anyhow, I strongly recommend that you check out his amazing blog!

My Random Facts:

1. My favorite coffee flavor is Caramel Macchiato
2. I’m scared to drive alone.
3. I don’t watch horror movies.
4. I joined singing competitions from my elementary days up to high school. 🙂
5. I wanted to be a doctor but I’m scared of cadavers.
6. My ultimate Hollywood crush is Ashton Kutcher.
7. I want to be either a singer/musician or a writer.
8. I can go out without make-up on.
9. I was a Guidance Counselor (my first job!) 🙂
10. If I would choose between wealthy living and simple living, I’d choose simple living- no doubt!
11. I’m happier as a giver than a receiver.

1. What is your favorite book (or series of books)? “The Return of the Ragpicker” by Og Mandino
2. On your own scale, what is the craziest thing you’ve ever done? I went on a blind date that was set up by my bestfriend.
3. What are you most grateful for in your life? My family and our close relationship.
4. What is your favorite fruit juice? And favorite fruit? Coconut juice and melons
5. What do you want this very second? Go to Greece.
6. What is your biggest achievement? My 8-years of marriage 🙂 (and counting…)
7. What are your top three favorite genres of music? Your favorite song in each genre? Acoustic Rock- Quiet (Jason Mraz) ,  Pop Rock- Kiss Me (Ed Sheeran), Reggae- Living In the Moment (Jason Mraz)
8. What tip(s) would you give a brand new blogger? Be yourself and accept the fact that not all people would agree with your opinion. Just be respectful and settle to agree to disagree 🙂
9. If you could be a celebrity for a day, who would you be and why? Mila Kunis…so I get to be Ashton Kutcher’s wife in one day, LOL! =P
10. What is your favorite quote?

I like it because it is very real and relatable. Many of us do not realize that one of the best and easiest way to be happy is to accept and love our own-selves. I like the part of the blog where the author encouraged the readers to read this phrase aloud:

“Just because someone appears to “have it all,” that does not mean they are truly happy. Wanting what someone else has will never make me happy anyway. My happiness is in appreciating what I have, and in directing my energy toward making the changes necessary for me to achieve my own goals and dreams.”

10 Random Facts about myself:

1. I like reading and writing a lot.
2. I can play the guitar =) My dad bought me my first guitar when I was 10 or 11yrs old.I also play the keyboards when I was younger.
3. I drink coffee everyday. I like tea too.
4. I was able to read a Harry Potter book in just one seating (man, did my eyes hurt!)
5. I can cook delicious meal! =)
6. I used to weigh 110 lbs and with 24” waistline (one day I wake up, and my pants don’t fit anymore! hehehe)
7. I like nuts, especially Almond.
8. I look like a snob, but really I am nice (LOL!)
9. I have a degree in BS Psychology and AB English
10. My favorite singers are Jason Mraz and Ed Sheeran

I do not have a list of blogs that I can nominate for this award yet…that would be an assignment for me today… I have seen some really good blogs, but they all have more than 200 followers so they don’t count… Promise, I’ll have my list of nominations soon! =)
