HER:
He’s looking at me
I act as if I don’t know
But my heart beats loud
HIM:
I’m staring at her
She pretends not to notice
But I know she knows

HER:
Am I just dreaming?
Is he walking towards me?
This man of my dreams!
Wait! How do I look?
Did I even brush my hair?
Uh-oh, here he comes…
HIM:
Hey there beautiful!
I’ve been seeing you around
and your other friend…
What’s her name again?
Yep, can I have her number?
Is she with someone?
“It makes me giddy
When I find good stuffs to read
My eyes are popping!”

A wonderful day
Beautiful people around
I am loving life!
I was inspired by Debbie of forgivingjournal to write this Haiku today.
I dedicate it to all my friends- old and new- in the blogging community who continue to be my sources of inspiration and happiness.
The featured image for this post are drawings of my daughter in my cellphone note! 🙂 My art work contribution would be the “frame”.
Wishing you all a happy life,
Nina 🙂

RAIN
It’s pouring outside
My girl drinks hot chocolate
The plants dance with joy!
Haiku is “a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.”
It is fun to write, a great stress-reliever, and it exercises the creative side of our brain.
In case you are wondering, yes, I wrote the poem above! I was inspired to write one after reading a post called “575 Haiku Place” from Zen and the Art of Everyday Living
If you want to enjoy reading more Haiku, I recommend you visit 575 Haiku Place
Try it out and let me know how it goes. 🙂
Thank you Richard for letting me share this.
