Every start of the year, most of us make a list of our “New Year’s Resolutions” that we usually follow during the first few months and then forget on the later months. I think that the reason why we often discontinue acting on our resolutions is because 12 months is too long for us to meet our goals.
My goal this year is to be happier. And in order to be happy, I believe that I should have a well-balanced life: Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually. However, I do not have a super power to work on all these aspects of my life all at the same time. So what I’m going to do is to divide each month and allot 3 months to work on improving one aspect. I give my sincerest thanks to Gretchen Rubin (author of “The Happiness Project”) from whom I got my inspiration. 🙂
This is very personal to me, and truth be said, I am scared that I may not reach my goals. But I’d like to hold myself accountable that is why I am sharing them to you.
Wish me luck and I hope to share more ups than downs with you on my personal journey! 🙂
